Two new highly experienced members, Anne Korkiakoski and Pekka Hurtola, were appointed members of the Nordic Morning Group Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting on March 21.
Anne Korkiakoski is a well known and experienced board professional. She serves as a board member at several companies in the Nordic region: Lunawood, Kämp Collection Hotels, Kalevala Koru, Lindström Group, Vuoristo yhtiöt, University of Vaasa and Finlands UN Women. Previously, she has worked in various management positions within Kone, Elisa, Euro RSCG and BNL Information. Anne holds a degree of Master of Science from University of Vaasa.
Pekka Hurtola has a long and well documented experience, having served as a member of 12 different boards of directors in state-owned companies. At the moment he is a board member of VR Group and Finferries. His background covers almost fifteen years within ownership steering and in addition to that time he held the position as SVP, Strategy and Development at Finavia for five years. Pekka holds a degree of Master of Laws from University of Helsinki.
